Serenity Circle Mentorship Program

The Serenity Circle Mentorship Program connects youth with caring, experienced adults so they never have to navigate their dreams alone. We pair teens with licensed cosmetologists, wellness practitioners, and educators who understand both the beauty industry and the emotional ups and downs of growing up.

Each match is intentional. We look at a young person's interests-hair, makeup, skincare, wellness, entrepreneurship-as well as their personality and goals. Then we connect them with a mentor who can share honest stories, practical advice, and real-life encouragement. Mentors model what it looks like to build a career while protecting your peace and self-worth.

Mentorship meetings may include shadowing in a salon or spa, talking through school and work decisions, reviewing resumes, practicing interview etiquette, or simply sitting over a snack and processing life. The focus is always two-fold: career guidance and personal growth.

Within Serenity Circle, youth:
- Gain a trusted adult who listens, believes in them, and holds them accountable
- Learn about different beauty and wellness career paths from someone living it
- Receive guidance on education, time management, and professional behavior
- Build confidence to ask questions, advocate for themselves, and dream bigger

For many teens, this is the first time they've had access to a licensed professional who looks like them or shares some of their story. That representation matters-and it changes what they believe is possible.

Parents and caregivers appreciate knowing their child has a positive, screened role model walking alongside them. For mentors and partners, Serenity Circle is a meaningful way to pour their hard-earned wisdom into the next generation and help birth future professionals with character, skill, and serenity.
